I connected my * box to two ISDN BRI lines using two ISDN pci cards (w/ the Cologne chip-set, hfc) and set up with mISDN.
so using chan_mISDN.
When I set-up the first ISDN pci card for testing everything worked just fine.
Now that I have two cards, things are working fairly OK with the following annoyances:
- when using a group for outgoing calls - Dial(mISDN/g:outgoing/${EXTEN},60) - gives a message that all channels are busy. Using Dial(mISDN/1/${EXTEN},60) works fine, same for port 2.
- Combining the mISDN ports with Dial(mISDN/1/${EXTEN}&mISDN/2/${EXTEN},60), seems to work, but drops the announcement played by mobile operators when the mobile phone turned off or unavailable. It goes directly into noanswer. Of course using a single port, as above, works fine.
installing mISDN with the misdn_installer was fairly easy.
Now where is that misdn.conf file laying around?
if chan_misdn supported fax, that would be great.
Should I switch to chan_capi ?
Tried to use chan_capi with the mISDN drivers, but asterisk couldn't create those CAPI channels.
