Using cvs-head...

If you have the digium licensed g729, the 'show g729' looks like:
 show g729
 0/0 encoders/decoders of 6 licensed channels are currently in use

If you loaded a different g729 codec (unlicensed, but available on the
internet), the response will be "No such command..."
