I have a corporate client that is in the food distribution business and they have approx 50 Symbol access points in their warehouse. They dispatch the fork lift operators by sending computer generated pick-lists via voice over 802.11g. The fork lift operators where some form of wireless receiver on their belt, and listen to the audio via an internal speaker. A little different then voip but same principle. They seem to like it. (I didn't engineer their system, so don't know anything more about it.) _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation sponsored by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
