Are you using the libiax2 that came with iaxmodem? If you are, then I'm
not sure what to say... the client-server behavior looks bizarre.

You'd have to show me an example for me to say for certain, but my guess
is that if it looks wrong to you then it probably is wrong. This output
should look like your Asterisk CLI output mostly.
