I personally think this is a fault in (*). (Or rather Zaptel) Because there is such a thing as ISDN, I think it should be able to recognize separate channels for DIDs... Both internal and external ZAP channels should be able to recognise the different DID/CID/CLID as separate identifiable endpoints. That way you can chose a 'channel' and have (*) use the correct CID/CLID. When doing extensions it should dial it, when doing outbound the chosen channel could define which MSN/CLID to use, inbound the DID would define the channel. (Just like the way it does now for the channels/extensions, but for ISDN just dialing Zap/1 won't do the trick... You'll need to dial Zap/1/2020 to get the ISDN phone with MSN 2020) Just my EUR 0,02 -- F Peeters PIII 450 - 1 GB - * 1.2 - BRIstuff 0.3.0 Pre 1 - Florz patch 2 Sweex HFC-PCI modes=2 sync_slave=2 timer_card=0 Cologne HFC-S pins #52, #54, #55 connected in parallel for synching. _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
