Sorry, I was actually referring to the fact that since it's open source,
it's not in Digium's court to be QA necessarily. While they may be
major backers and contributors, I feel it's up to bug testers and the
public in general to be QA. There're just so many more of them than
Digium employees. And depending on hardware or software specifics, I
might run into an error after 10 seconds that someone else spent three
hours trying to replicate and failed.

Does _Digium_ have any sort of QA process? The hardware makers? I
thought Asterisk was open source ;)

Confirmed.
If I place a file called 0.gsm in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds it plays the
file. Why the HELL when I have 'announce = inside-sales' in queues.conf,
is Asterisk trying to play a file called 0.gsm??? My god... Does digium
have any sort of QA process for Asterisk???

Are queues in 1.2.1 completely screwed up or what?
The 'announce' command doesn't do anything. I'm getting this on the
console which may be related:
Dec 20 10:32:00 WARNING[3467]: file.c:508 ast_openstream_full: File
0 does not exist in any format
Dec 20 10:32:00 WARNING[3467]: file.c:820 ast_streamfile: Unable to
open 0 (format ulaw): No such file or directory
I have 'timeout' set to 60s, but the queue is telling me in about 30s
== Auto fallthrough, channel 'Local/[EMAIL PROTECTED],2'
<mailto:'Local/[EMAIL PROTECTED],2'> status is 'NOANSWER'
Dec 20 10:33:07 NOTICE[3486]: app_queue.c:1640 wait_for_answer: No
one is answering queue 'Company1' (2/1/0)
Anyone used queues in Asterisk 1.2.1? They just seem generally screwy.
Doug.
