Anyway around that? It's a PITA to have to change that all the time with my PDA & laptop.

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Asterisk 1.2 + DMZ + NAT clients

Hey everyone I have my Asterisk server setup as the DMZ on my Linksys router. If I use the internal IP as the domain in Xlite clients will register and work, however, if I use the FQDN for my asterisk server the clients will not register. I have all the extensions set to NAT=yes and have modified sip.conf to include externip=<insert FQDN here>, externhost=<insert FQDN here>, and localnet=192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0

I see Xlite trying to register, but it never does.

I've done some searching around on forums and this seems to be a fairly common setup that works for people, not sure why it won't work for me!

Thanks,
Blake
