I tried changing the image resolution by doing below in my dial plan but
still i get the same resolution as above.
FAX resolutions are set by the sender, not the receiver. The receiver
can reject modes and resolutions it does not support - super fine, grey
scale, colour etc - but it can't force the sender to use a higher
resolution.
Ok, Understood.
What iam seeing here in the .tif image of a clean document received by
RxFAX is lines overlapping and lines less spaced out sometimes. Iam not
sure if its the sending FAX machine or RxFAX doing it.
I would need to see an example to have any clue what is going on.
Is there a way to change the image resolution mentioned in this debug
output ?
Why would changing this make any sense? It is the correct resolution.
[Jan 4 18:28:20] DEBUG[8206]: Image resolution: 7700 x 3850
Is this the FAX resolution or the generated .tif images resolution ?
Both. They are the same. The TIFF file is generated with the resolution
of the received FAX.

Steve
