This sounds very nice (GSM/WiFi roaming) but needs co-operation from the GSM operators, which many are not happy doing as they lose revenue when the call moves away from GSM. BT (in UK) have launched a service called Fusion which allows roaming between GSM and a Bluetooth basestation in the home that uses ADSL as backhaul. There is an open specification for this type of service, but few operators have yet adopted it.
