As you can see on your link, the reference on the voip-info web site is for Centos 4.1
I recommend you to compile asterisk instead of running the rpm install. That is going to give you a more accurate idea of what is going on with the modules that you need to be able to run asterisk. All that you get are errors that seems to be loops, you cannot need asterisk 1.0.9 to install asterisk 1.0.9, something has to be hiding the real problem. Later I tried rpm's under Fedora at ftp://ftp.linuxsys.com/pub/LSE/packages/Fedora/asterisk-1.0.9/ When I tried to install asterisk-libpri-v1.2.0-1.FC1.LSE.i386.rpm I get a similar error message error: Failed dependencies: asterisk = v1.2.0 is needed by asterisk-libpri-v1.2.0-1.FC1.LSE Am I missing any package that should be pre installed before all of these packages? Please help me to know where I am going wrong and install Asterisk successfully.
