Especially in light of the fact that you can easily and legally get the source code and images for $50 Chinese phones based on the PA186 chips. Ok, the phones aren't anywhere near as good as Polycoms, but many good inexpensive phones do have easily accessible SIP and IAX2 images freely available, including in beta. Further, Polycom SIP phones have the longest boot time of any phone I've ever seen (something like 5 min, compared to a Sipure, less than 60 seconds) and the worst web interface of any device I've ever seen anywhere, so it isn't like they're defending the edge either. _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
