So my question is, is anybody else using 7.5 firmware?
I haven't had the same issue you describe so I can't help, sorry. But I have had other issues with 7.5 firmware. If asterisk restarts then the phone needs to be rebooted to re-register.
I haven't seen anything online that describes it except this:
