I can't remember the details but several years ago in my former life as a CLEC, we had an issue where a gov't official whose caller ID was blocked called his daughter who was a customer of ours. She answered with "Hello Daddy" and the stink hit the fan.
Now I remember, it wasn't a PRI but rather a ground/wink-start T-1 trunk with DNIS and the caller ID in the DNIS digits. We had to get our Class 5 switch manufacturer to patch the $3 million dollar switch or risk getting shut down. The caller ID info is most definitely there and it shows up in my CDR records.
