Ok, with the buddies, what "device" do you hint to? The last line of the
phone?

It's not a shared line appearance. If you are using 'shared'
registrations, it will likely not work properly with Asterisk since
Asterisk does not yet support the draft protocol for doing them.
Just add a 'buddy' to the phone's directory and set 'watch' to yes; then
the button's light will show whether that channel is busy or not.
However, depending on the channel type, the definition of 'busy' can
vary... for Zap, it's obvious, but for SIP and IAX2, it is less clear.
