I'm having similar problems.. I've followed the instructions in those PDF guides and had a bit more success, although I've found that I needed to turn off inband DTMF signalling in Asterisk and the client to be able to login to voicemail.
I can place a call between two X-Lite clients, but get no voice. If I attempt to leave a voicemail from either client, I see the following on the Asterisk console in debug mode: WARNING[245776]: File app_voicemail.c, Line 707 (leave_voicemail): No audio avai lable on SIP/2000-af4a?? I've gone into X-Lite and set the microphone to be the sound card device, I've tested both microphones with Windows sound recorder and they work fine. Also really strange is that on one client, extension 2000, when I call voicemail I don't hear the "password" prompt until I press a key, then the audio from asterisk seems to come through.. The other extension 2001 has no problems, and can hear the server as soon as it connects. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph Finley Sent: Saturday, 25 October 2003 04:38 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] X-Lite Voip Client Phil, Check here http://www.fnords.org/~eric/asterisk/ _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
