Hello everyone - first time poster, long time lurker. (sounds like a radio morning program, I know).
I'm attempting to get my InterTel Axxess (w/v9.0 software) to play nice with my Asterisk implementation. Asterisk 1.2.6 is running on a Fedora Core 4 x86 box. I've tried getting the Axxess to talk SIP to Asterisk, but InterTel's SIP implementation is, well-let's say, incomplete. So, I've moved on to trying the same with MGCP. My mgcp.conf is as follows: [general] port = 2427 bindaddr = x.x.x.x disallow = all allow = ulaw allow = alaw [intertel] host = y.y.y.y context = outbound canreinvite = yes dtmfmode=rfc2833 transfer=no threewaycalling=no transfer=no callwaiting=no cancallforward=no line => line/0 From the console: asterisk*CLI> mgcp show endpoints Gateway 'intertel' at y.y.y.y (Static) -- 'line/[EMAIL PROTECTED] in 'outbound' is idle After racking my brain trying to figure out why the Axxess system was not passing calls to Asterisk when told to do so, I decided to do some packet sniffing between the two. This is what I discovered: (y.y.y.y is the InterTel, x.x.x.x is the Asterisk server.) 4 203195.759 y.y.y.y->x.x.x.x [MGCP] AUEP 11436 line/[EMAIL PROTECTED] MGCP 1.0 5 203195.760 x.x.x.x->y.y.y.y [MGCP] 510 11436 Unknown verb It looks as if the Axxess is attempting to ask Asterisk for an audit of the lines that are defined, which Asterisk doesn't seem to support. Anyone out there have any experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- +-----------------------------------------------+ ^__^ | Shane DeRidder [EMAIL PROTECTED] | .
