Hi Bart,

If it's anything like the problem we had, you are probably getting what sounds like screeching noises during MOH playback? We had this problem and made it go away by turning off hyperthreading in the server BIOS and starting Linux with noht - this was on a dual Xeon machine.

Thanks for you suggestion Doug,
I've converted the files using your script to ulaw but experience the same
problem.
A thing I forgot to mention is that it only happens on calls passing the
trunks to the
cisco-routers that terminate to pstn so not on internal sip-sip calls.
Normal voice communication runs smoothly over the trunks it's only the moh
that causes some problems.
