I am using SER as proxy and registrar and redirect server and iam using MEDIAPROXY for SER to handle Nated calls ,
So, now i want to connect Asterisk to SER to handle only pstn calls so how the process here goes on ... I mean is, when a sip user who registerd at SER calls to pstn then SER will forward it and Asterisk will try to connect the pstn number and asterisk rtp proxy will handle one leg and on other leg SER mediaproxy will do it
instead of both can we use only one Mediaproxy to do that ? is there any chance to do that ????! (in the sense that Asterisk is a registered user agent for SER)
UA<---->|SER|<------>|ASTERISK|---->PSTN

Media RTP
Proxy proxy
so here when call from pstn, the asterisk will send sip request to SER and SER looks in location database and sends an invite messsage to sip client
where i getting confusion is there are two mediaproxies to handle this call
1) whether mediaproxy will handle?
2) rtp proxy will handle?
please clear my doubt ...
Thank you
Regards
Ravi
