Tzafir:

This was the result of the test you gave me. Obviously the message was not sent.

On my environment I have a mail server and the [EMAIL PROTECTED] server.  I just want to take one email out of the box, no matter if it is to internet or inside my network.  Thanks for your help and please keep going.

What do you think would happen if both the mail server and the [EMAIL PROTECTED] have the same name, would be a cause of this kind of problems?

Thanks.

This is probably wrong.

Should the mail be sent to an external server or to a server in your
LAN?

Can you send mails using a simple:

echo test | mail -s "test subject" [EMAIL PROTECTED]
