Please review the ChangeLog files for all the releases since 1.2.1 to see if your problem has been addressed... if so, then upgrade. If not, then upgrade anyway, reproduce the problem and then file a bug report.
I agree with you, but for the moment this is not possible, that's why I asked if anybody else has seen this, so I know if an upgrade will help or not.
