That's not terribly suprising. I've noticed a
significant effect on ADSL sync speed by
connecting a TDM400P through an inferior quality
filter.

I can't say I've noticed that, but the system
isn't in service yet.

Do you have an alternative ADSL filter you can
try? Of the selection I had available, I found the
Speedtouch-branded units were the best.
