I found out what the problem is. exten => 12,1,Queue(12|tr) ; does not play announcement exten => 13,1,Queue(12|t) ; does play announcement I reverted my queues.conf to read: announce-frequency = 0 periodic-announce-frequency = 15 Providing the r flag to the queue call will kill the announcements, even the position/holdtime announcement. Is this a bug or on purpose ? _______________________________________________
