Is so, why when I transfer using #1 do I hear what extension the call was parked at but not transfer -> blind?

#1 is, for whatever reason, doing a supervised transfer.

You do NOT get to hear the called party in a blind transfer. If you hear the called party when you do a transfer then it is a supervised transfer, not a blind transfer.
