Neither. It's a separate device, entirely unrelated to any TDM cards (which
means it can be used for any type of channel, not just TDM).
The final specs for the number of channels are not yet determined, but we
expect to do at least 100 channels of G.729 and/or G.723.1 per board.
That sounds like a real nice product for those of us that need G729.
