Thanks for reply. I removed the quotes, but it did not solve the
problem. After lots of trials I've found the solution:
This works: Set(myvar=$[${CALLERID(num)} : "([a-z]+)"])
This works not: Set(myvar = $[${CALLERID(num)} : "([a-z]+)"])
(Note the single blanks around the '=' )
