I've found that when I use an IP VoIP device (phone or ATA) to the SPA-3000/3102 (I have both) that I have the echo problems. While I've learned to deal with it my wife won't. I have no such problem with the POTS phone directly connected to the SPA. I have one SPA - ATA - VoIP service and an SPA to POTS line (~2 cable miles from the CO). I'm pretty sure my problems are software echo cancelers doing battle with each other but I have no proof.
BTW, how do you turn off the software echo canceling in the SPA? -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.linuxha.com/ Main site http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog http://home.comcast.net/~ncherry/ Backup site _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
