I havn't tested it but if group survives the macros call thru
app_queue to chan_local then yes it might work.

Could you use group() to do this? It's variables are visible from
anywhere though I don't understand the problem well enough to know if
this might be a way to a solution.  I know I had this problem once
when I forwarded calls to my cell phone and tried to pick up my voice mail.
