Hi Stephen I started off using the SPA-3000 for FXO and FXS but could not kill the echo enough to pass the wife test so I invested in a Diguim TDM400p with 2 FXO ports, ran the fxotune app and the echo was gone! I now use the SPA-3000 as FXS and have the pots line plugged in as a life line if the power / asterisk fails.

Yuo are the second one to have recommended going with a PCI card. I think that I will take your advice and do that instead of the SPA-3000. Even if I need two FXO ports some day, the price of two SPA-3000 cards (and all the extra cables, etc) will almost equal the A20101. > > I just have to figure out if I want to spend the extra for the A200D or not! > > I haven't really looked at the Digium TMD400p as I heard that before there were a lot of IRQ and FAX problems with those cards. I also heard better things about the Sangoma A200, although lately on the voip-info.org wiki there has been someone with driver problems. > > By the way, I have not seen either of our messages turn up on the [email protected] digest yet.
