I was using zap but I ditched the PSTN for now. Try taking a look at:
CALLERID(name) or CALLERID(number) instead.

but the number somehow does not get passed to
${CALLERID} variable.
in zaptel.conf:
callerid=asreceived
cidsignalling=dtmf
cidstart=polarity
does someone have a similar system that's working? I'd
like to know which asterisk and zaptel versions you
are running
