I know I could do that, and I do for some instances, but the biggest point of writing the macros (at least in my case) is to reduce typing etc...
Murf and I have uncovered a bug relating to this. Macros can call macros just fine pre-dial, but once there's been a hangup, we've discovered that Asterisk no longer processes the macros properly. A bug has been submitted to the digium bug system.
