[asterisk-users] Strange CLI Output

While the console is in monitor mode (asterisk -r) I see duplicate 
messages from Asterisk one after the other - But not when I connect via SSH.

Example:
-- Starting simple switch on Zap/65-1
-- Starting simple switch on Zap/65-1

What could cause this?
