On a side note with this topic. I recently ran into problems hosting an Asterisk box behind a Linksys 4 port Cable/DSL router, the problem was that SIP realy only worked on it for the first 2-3 minutes. After 2-3 hours of playing around and blaming the remote routers, I decided to check the latest firmwares for the router at the Asterisk location. The release notes on the last firmware had 2 or maybe 3 issues fixed, one of them was problems with sip.

Since I've upgraded every linksys I deal with to the latest firmware, all similar issues have disappeared.
