There are FC5 compatible RPMS at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~pjl/downloads/asterisk/ I have been using SRPMS there to make new zaptel RPMS when FC5 gets kernel updates. I haven't tried the 1.2.11 release that was just posted, but earlier versions seemed to work fine. Note those aren't vanilla releases.
