Installilng on a fresh copy of SUSE SLES9, with newly downloaded copies of asterisk, zaptel, etc. get this error on "make"
make -C /usr/src/linux SUBDIRS=/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.9.1 modules make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7.282' Makefile:438: .config: No such file or directory CC [M] /usr/src/zaptel-1.2.9.1/zaptel.o /bin/sh: line 1: scripts/basic/fixdep: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.9.1/zaptel.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [_module_/usr/src/zaptel-1.2.9.1] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.5-7.282' make: *** [linux26] Error 2 Actually, earlier on, I also had another error in my first make attempt, could not find "Module.symvers". I found that in another directory and copied it to where make seemed to expect it. I am left with only the errors noted above. Not turning up anything in searches. joe _______________________________________________ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
