Cisco 7970 supports 802.3af and has full support under asterisk for
both SIP and Skinny with chan_sccp. The 7940's are solid phones but
they do not support 802.3af so you need to use Cisco's PoE gear.

Also make sure to get a service contract for each of the type of phone
you buy, so you can get firmware updates.

Hi List;

I am looking to use an good IP Phone working with
Asterisk and work based on PoE (so it takes the power
via the ethernet cable, no need to connect for it
separated power adaptor).

Can someone advise me for good one?

Bilal
