The client is an IAX2 soft phone running on Windows XP. Asterisk
version is 1.2.4. Codec is G.711-ulaw. The user is connecting from
long distance away (from client phone in New Zealand to Asterisk™
server in Australia). We've confirmed that roundtrip times are fairly
consistent and that the user's PC is in good working order.
Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
If the softphone has an auto-gain adjust, it's probably the cause of this?
Just a guess really.
