I suspect that is caused by asterisk not knowing about your video codecs (I have never done video over IP myself, so just a guess). If your devices talk to each other, # device <=> device they can use all the codecs both of them know As soon as asterisk is involved, # device <=> asterisk <=> device the codec negotiation goes through asterisk. So asterisk must at least _know_ the codec that those devices want to use.
