[chan_alsa.so] => (ALSA Console Channel Driver)
asterisk: pcm.c:5486: snd_pcm_sw_params_set_silence_threshold: Assertion `val < pcm->buffer_size' failed.Aborted
There is problems between asterisk and alsa or ac97 ? I need any option for to compiler asterisk ?
I guess most people prefer to use oss rather than alsa...? this issue was noticed earlier this year, and the fix is now included in cvs:

I am also using i8x0 and alsa, and this patch (or latest cvs) works great for me.
