The ${DIALSTATUS} channel variable stores the result of the dial attempt:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+variable+DIALSTATUS

You can store it on the CDR's userfield column using the cdr function:
Set(CDR(userfield)=${DIALSTATUS})
