Sounds workable.
Generally if you do this Asterisk will have a tough time knowing when to
hang up the line. When I have some similar things in the past I have
found it worked much more reliable when I used FXS modules on a TDM400P
or a channel bank and plugged those into the CO/line ports on the PBX.
