Subject: [asterisk-users] Recorded file processing app wanted
Does anybody have (or know of) a command line application that would:
) Eliminate pops and other random loud noises.
) Trim leading and trailing silence.
) Trim pauses exceeding x milliseconds to y milliseconds.
) Normalize what's left.
I know about normalize and have figured out how to trim leading and
trailing silence in sox, but I'm looking for more :)
Thanks in advance,
Didn't you already ask this same question and get some good responses on
Friday? I think my last post may do just what you want, although not
all in one app.
Thanks,
Steve
No, it was not a repost. One of the respondents included the list address
twice and I didn't see it before replying. Sorry.
I did like your idea of splitting the files so that sox could treat the
"intra file" silences as leading and trailing silences.
After reading the sox man page again, I'm going to try playing with low
and high pass filtering to take a crack at the other cruft I'm trying to
eliminate.
Do you have any suggestions for the random noises?
Thanks in advance,
