the real problem is with the asterisk NAT issue. i was asking for help if any one had similar problem with nufone account. i am using IAX. is there anything like nat=yes as in sip.conf?? i read iax should work with normal configuration. its ok with outbound. i only have problems with inbound.
IAX doesn't have many NAT issues. The only part you have to consider when connecting two Asterisk servers over NAT, is that the one behind NAT should successfully register with the one on the public IP. After that registration, the line is kept open for incoming calls. If you haven't successfully registred, your server is hidden behind NAT and can't receive calls.
