It's stated in the Asterisk Handbook that if you have an AMD processor you should use a kernel compiled for i686 with MMX optimizations
The handbook was writen quite a while back. Is this still true? I'm running an AMD kernel and compiling zaptel with -march=athlon-xp and cursory testing at least does not cause smoke and flames type crash. What are the issues. I assume something to do with the zaptel drivers and switching between MMX and floating point?? Anyone have a pointer to something that explains this It may be easy to fix. ===== Chris Albertson Home: 310-376-1029 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cell: 310-990-7550 Office: 310-336-5189 [EMAIL PROTECTED] KG6OMK __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
