I thought the purpose of "transparent tunneling" was indeed to pass vendor specific Q.SIG signal through. Is it correct ?

Hi, the problem with QSIG is that each vendors have addons .... if you use patton smart node for Qsig tunneling betwenn 2 PBX from the same vendors, then pehraps you will lost some services, because the smart node is not implemeting all addons.
