Guys, please help me in understanding what I'm mistaking...
Description:I've configured my AsteriskNOW (beta 6) server, in service providers section, with the parameters provided by my ITSP. Until now I've used this configuration with SJphone and all worked perfectly.
Now I've decided to use this account with AsteriskNOW to begin my experience with a VoIP based PBX.
The SIP parameters to register with my ISP are as follow: Protocol: SIP Register: yes Host: the sip address of my ISP Username: as provided Password: as providedThen I've configured a user with the *NOW web interface with the following values:
Extension: 600 Name: piero Password and VM password: 290169 CallerID: emptyA this point I've used the user (piero) parameters configured on AsteriskNOW to configure SJphone to use as a Softphone client, here is the configuration on SJphone:
Type = SIPProxyInizialization = Both for Account and Password, Inquired, Saved, Required SIP Proxy = in the Proxy domain field I've inserted the IP address of AsteriskNOW server
specifying 5060 port Register with proxy = yes Proxy is strict outbound = yes all the rest is left as found. After a while SJphone show this messages: Service unavailable Server is not responding ...in the info section SIP:not registered Host address: 192.168.10.72 <----(this is the address of SJphone client) NAT/Firewall: Symmetric NAThere below are some lines copied from the messages file situated in / var/log/asterisk directory:
