I have the same issue with the ringing currently, so I force a ring.

This is interesting information -- I've had similar problems with IAX
trunks on totally different carriers.
Example: Callers do not hear the remote ringing, or only some of the
rings, or don't hear the beep tone for voice mail.
IAX is easier if you're behind a firewall :(
