Free and inexpensive aren't quite the same. I don't follow the -biz list because I don't want to hear plugs from "You at Evariste" about this stuff.
I sent a PHP snippet to the list maybe a year and a half ago, search something like "site:lists.digium.com Mojo csv" or "site:lists.digium.com Mojo cdr" or "site:lists.digium.com Mojo php" and see if you can find it, let me know if you can't. While it only totaled columns, it may be a nice starting point for you.
