The asterisk open source gui uses extensions.conf and users.conf to write files.
It could be made to work with realtime, possibly, if you like the asterisk GUI as it is now. Hmm. Do you guys think it would be worth the time to do so? I did try VoiceOne, and spent a half day just to get it going and it seemed pretty buggy. And the underlying PHP seemed way more complicated than it needed to be.
