That is a perfectly valid requirement. This is not a SIP protocol issue. This is a SIP Registrar implementation/policy issue. If a SIP Registrar implementation could limit the number of Contact bindings per AoR then this goal can be accomplished. Asterisk's SIP Registrar does not support this today. However, it should be a relatively minor enhancement to add this in the Asterisk SIP Registrar itself (as opposed to implementing this through back-end database hooks).
