What is it currently doing?  My guess would be that they have call 
waiting enabled.  You can set maximum number of calls on the client by 
setting call-limit=1 in the sip.conf for that client.

number : Number of simultaneous calls through this user/peer

At that point, they would get a busy signal when exceeded.
